SAVANNAH – Dorothy Elizabeth Bignault, 87, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born May 18, 1929 in El Campo, Texas, she later moved to Los Angeles, California. There she met and married her late husband, Henri Lucas Bignault, of Savannah. They moved to Savannah in 1952.
She is survived by her son, Devlon Henri Bignault; her daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Bignault; four grandchildren, Donnie Christopher Bignault, Ryan Lyle, Tom Lyle, and Sara Elizabeth Bignault; and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Interment will be private.
